What Christmas really means to me

Ever had the thought of what Christmas really means to you? personally ?
do you ever have that warm fuzzy feeling inside?
Whenever you hear Christmas carols being played,
Christmas tree being lighted up,
Don't you feel excited !? cause Christmas is just around the corner!
The O-So-Yummy-Licious food that you can only eat somehow during Christmas..
The long awaiting of getting what you really want from your parents..since you used up your birthDAY wishes.
Family members from overseas gathering for a Family Dinner..
Isn't it wonderful?

But I hope we are not forgetting about the most important person here
On why we are celebrating Christmas.
Though the world may want us to forget about Jesus.
Lets not let them do so?
Why the Xmas when Christmas is really all about Jesus Christ.

I believe that if it's weren't for Christ being born into this world
Christmas will be meaningless..
in fact...(hah what am i saying here..)
There won't be Christmas!

So what does Christmas really means to me anyway?
It's simply about the birth of our Lord Jesus.
i'll say that the feeling is indescribable when Christmas is around

I can't believe it .

For those of you who don't know me

i have problem with colours..

And because of that,

i've been delaying myself from taking the undang

cuz it will' SO THE EX' if i were to fail it

and so well yea

last week, i brace myself went for it

I prayed real hard.

the day before, the day on even the day before sitting for the undang

was praying that i'll be able to see the colours

and to my surprise?

I SKIP THROUGH THE ENTIRE COLOUR TEST

and still pass the undang exam!

muahahah!

I can't believe it.

I lulus everything ..

even the colour..

wow yeah!?

so anyway

for now have to wait one week till i can start the 'L'

Plus it will only take me one month

in order to go for the driving exam.

A naughty child of God

As i reflect on my life, on the spiritual side. Indeed God has been really real in my life.When things were bad, only at the end of the day He reveal Himself to me. That doesn't mean that He wasn't there with me through those bad times, i guess he was just teaching me ( displining me ) and i can see why He did so. Thank you Lord =)

So how do i describe my life as a teenager? - can i say Ugly?

It wasn't about my school.I love ACS till now. It was more to myself, about how i was? Funny how sometimes people say being a Christian, we must be perfect all the time? ' yes of course? but Christians are human too? ..We're not perfect.. only God IS '

Well I became quite a bitter person as i was growing up. I hated everything in my life. There were a time when i hated my family, my friends, the world but more to myself and God. What's wrong with me eh? Of course it's very normal i guess? izzit? Mostly everyone would have gone through that kinda stage? I? treated God like some magician/maid. Whatever i prayed for? I WANTED Him to answered it now! now means now..

I blame God for every bad thing that comes my way.

I was desperate you see? I just wanted things to be different, My way! but the more i questioned Him? Somehow things just got worst -__-"

One thing about me as a teenager? I was a real hypocrit.. I really had a tough time with God, struggling through life, trying to work things out of my own. 'God.. i've been patiently waiting for my prayers to be answered.i cannot wait any longer..sorry' In church, I'll put on my mask. A smiling face as if nothing is wrong with me. good acting? Here i go doing things in church, being active and all, LEADING!?! yeah that's me..In Project Samuel, I learn about integrity. Then what happen? Though i know about it but never really did put it into practice. in a way? I was like wasting unc Paul Long's time/teaching. Goodness la you ColiN!

I've always remembered this sentence when I was growing up...

Integrity is very important.Remembering God's word and be a shining light to others.

I was form 2 when i re-dedicated my life to God.It was that turning point that though i was a hypocrit/hated life/LOA nuisance, i was really trying. Yet somehow i just seem so good in failing and I really fail Him big time.I let Him down.. Whenever i think about my past? tears flow simply because of how i've treated the my God , the one who created me , the one who died for me.. i don't deserve such love..

So now im 17 going on 18 =)

That's when Rbs came along.

How to describe Rbs? - like going to a disiplinary school

Personally to me?

God really had to take drastic measures.. Locking me up on a deserted Hill in Pahang, Was freezing cold in the morning and at night, there was practically nothing up on that Hill. but i met 44 lovely bunch of people >_< I was there for 1 1/2 month and everyday God is like slapping me, throwing bricks on my head. OUCH!! it really hurts a lot. I've em..never cried so much before nor even cried like a baby since baby time? O_o

All this was to get me back on track in order He can use me as his instrument. God had to fix me cause i was a bit 'spoil liao'. Me, as His child, His servant - He has great plans for me and it shall go according to His plan.

Not mine...

I thank Him, indeed I thank God that He put me in Rbs. All the bad things that had happen to me, because God always take whatever is bad and turn it into good.Im sure everyone would always say this. IF GOD IS GOOD,WHY DO BAD THINGS HAPPEN?! God has his plans..He allows bad things to happen in our life,cause sometimes that's the only way we can learn.How we slowly turn back to Him, relying on Him, realizing that without Him-we can't do anything.

To watch or not to watch...

Ok i have to admit that i enjoy watching indonesian's love stories .. specially when it comes to 'Ada apa dengan Cinta?'. It was one of the best love stories i've ever seen, of course there was 'A walk to remember' but still.. i really love this movie alot.Movie was release in 2002 ..story line was so so touching.till i cry...when i was watching this movie.yes ... i cried! Even the soundtrack was good.. So it actually leave a good impression to me that their movies are NOT bad!!! Really...
Even series like 'Bawang putih dan Bawang merah' ...the shows i watch sometimes... i surprise myself on how my cousin's maid can even influece me in liking the show.Anyway so yea..
5 years later,and here is a lastest love story from indonesia..

Love is Cinta... When I first saw this movie was in the billboard along the highway at PJ,i was laughing at the title all, was saying "What kind of movie title is this...love is cinta??!! ma as well say Stupid is bodoh -__-" later did i know the movie was from indonesia and when i watch the trailer.. really caught me eye as i felt it's something like 'ada apa dengan cinta' ,but according to some of my friends.this movie is super lame.hmm..i was suppose to go and watch it but now..really don't know.Maybe i should just get the dvd? but wil be nice to watch it in movie. haha.. Whatever it is. at least the soundtrack is quite nice. [Enjoy =) ]

Teen Scene Fest 2007

Just recently.. The Klang Jaya youth came working together in making this year Teen Scene Fest '07 -Right Turn- It was an evangelistic event as we were focusing on our theme 'Testify to love' We want to share the word of God to everyone who is yet to come to know Him , about His love and not to be selfish in just keeping it to ourselves. Though everyone was been very busy with their mid-term exam,college exam and worK! Still with their passion for God, they found the time in working together and to make all this possible. A very huge thanks to all who were involve in this event!

But before I start telling you all how it went..I wanna share something that really that hit me that night. I personally felt that God was using Unc chan to speak to me.

"If you find your stomach knotting, your head pounding, and your teeth clenched, discover the simple remedy of bending your knees"

That was exactly how i was feeling that nite and so I started praying..but i was still feeling really nervous and all ( i was the leading in the Praise & Worship and was the chairman for that day so was worried because wanted everything to go well ) and so I actually looked for Edwin to talk to him,and suddenly he asked me to follow him into a room and he told me kneel down, and with that, he was praying for me and meeting. We both prayed. Really felt so much better after that..but still there was something that was bugging me, so i went to Unc chan and he said something to me that really hit me alot.

And he said this ' Colin..have you prayed ? you did? good ! then why worry?if you have prayed..this meeting is not in your hands anymore.It's in God's hand now '

That really struck me a lot.. and that was The power of Prayer.. because that night everything went well!!! To God be the glory! With this i bring you -RIght TurN-
